Now, she insists he come to England, at least for a two-week visit and to formalize their engagement. Aaron balks. He’s got a ranch to run. Ultimately, though, he reluctantly agrees and finds himself a fish out of water and Sophia a completely different woman than the one he fell in love with.
Sophia is a city girl who loves the social limelight; Aaron is a country boy who prefers anything but. The clash of cultures begins in earnest as Sophia tries to maneuver Aaron into ‘learning London’ …and she almost breaks him …But not quite. Tyranny or anguish is his choice, and, ultimately, his choice is neither. But he loves her.
