We’ve just returned from visiting family in France, and I have no idea how I managed to avoid gaining weight!
OMG, the pastries, chocolates, cakes, speciality breads, etc, were amazing! Just look and tell me how you could resist them … Every time we went to buy a baguette for lunch, we were forced to queue past ….

… but resist them I did. I felt really proud of myself! Be honest …. Could you resist temptation?
I have no idea if this shop was a Patisserie or a Boulangerie, as it sold everything. Does anyone know?
Unfortunately, I never got to photograph all the different speciality breads on offer, as it was my turn to be served.
Ho hum, if I lived in France, I would be the size of two prize porkers.

If we were having coffee over at Natalie’s blog… sorry to disappoint, but I would not be offering you one of the above cakes. Sorry, guys. Cakes are off the menu! I have lost 0.5 kilos this week, and the loss was hard-earned.

The Halloween-themed goodies look so cute!

Heck no, I wouldn’t be able to resist these pastries. the #FoodieFriday hop sounds fun. I wrote a food post yesterday so if you’d like to see it, I’ll link it here. Will see if I can edit it to include your badge and tag #FoodieFriday.

I wouldn’t be able to resist. I’d call that place a patisserie. Thank you for your weekend coffee share.

I will be taking part! My wife and I love Paris: the food, the energy, the love of life – as you showcase so well with their food! A baguette and some French butter, perhaps a slice of ham as well and I am set! Oh, a beverage as well of course and it’s Paris so need I say more?

We were going to stop there but our schedule changed a bit…we have spent time in both the Burgundy region as well as Bordeaux and both are incredible

These look incredible. Hope they had enough sugar unlike the highly fancy looking ones in Austria – a real disappointment!
