I love fresh seafood, especially dressed crab, so today, we went to lunch at ‘A Azenha do Mar’ near Odemeira in the Alentejo.
No, I didn’t go to the tank to choose the live crab, I left that to the waitress.

Do you like seafood? I do, but apart from prawns, I don’t cook it.

Hi, Carole – I love seafood, including prawns. But, other than salmon (which I cook quite regularly), I seldom prepare seafood at home (Richard is not a fan of most shellfish). Great photo!

Always nice to have someone cook it for you.

Yep, I don’t have the courage, Laurie.

I love seafood – as long as it’s well cooked. Many, many years ago, (in my single days) I tried raw oysters on the half shell in an Oyster Bar in New Orleans. Never again!!

Hi Terry, I’ve never tried oysters. I don’t know why … well … I think it is the thought of the texture sliding down my throat. Even now I shudder. At least you were brave enough to try.

That was the exact problem, Carole! The next day I was sure I could feel them sliding back up again, 😂
