Today I was sorting through the photos on my phone, trying to decide which ones I to delete because Google keeps warning me:
You’ve used 87% of storage. You need storage to back up photos, upload files, and send and receive email
and it keeps wittering on and on about buying more storage space in the cloud. Nope. I have no intention of paying Google a cent.
Anyways, I digress. While looking through photos and videos to delete, this photo caught my eye today. I remember thinking at the time These are wise words to live by …

Oh bother, I should go through my photos – I can feel the threat of getting the same message. Yes – words to live by!

yes it’s tough to let some of them go. I think I am going to plug my phone into my PC and download all my photos and save to a separate hard drive.

A dear friend gifted me those words on wall decor pieces. Excellent words to live by, Carole!

Don’t get me started! My emails and photos are at 98% and, like you, I refuse to get into all that. I have separate Restlessjo and Johanna Bradley pages on Facebook but they’re linked on one account and publishing on there is hit and miss.
I just renewed my yearly subs on WP and, lo and behold, this morning I can’t find a way to write another post. AI seems to be in charge. Nor can I comment directly onto most of the blogs I follow (including this one). I’m commenting on the Reader. Woe is me xx

Hi Jo, I feel your pain re only being able to comment on blogs via reader. That’s the problem I have with yours and Cornwall in colours, as I don’t always remember to check Reader.
Re WP renewal, mine is due in December, and I hope there are no additional, unwelcome tweaks; as of this week, I am already having trouble adding new tags.
I hope you can manage to figure a way to bypass WP AI.
I do use ChatGPT and it has helped me with some WordPress challenges. Maybe I will ask it about these issues.

Which browser do you use? I have just discovered I have a comment problem on Firefox where I need to login every time but not on Chrome.

I use Chrome. I’ve just seen that article this evening, but not read it yet as I found a way to compose a post… I think! Thanks, Carole. Having guests I’ve not had much time to focus on the blog xx

Poor Mr Google must be having financial problems because JUST TODAY he would not let me download a photo onto my computer for an article being written and suggested the ‘Cloud business’ :( ! First time in nearly 20 years of working on one! Well, I took 5 minutes to delete about 100 photos I no longer needed and he couldn’t refuse next time I tried, could he :) ! Like your pic above . . .

Morning, Eha. Cloud business- that’s a new one. I have Meta chasing me on FB because I have a FB Page for Piglet in Portugal and I don’t make a dime.
I am glad you managed to wriggle around the problem
