  1. That looks like a fiscal shrike… well, that’s what we used to call it back in SA… see the hooked beak… it’s quite an aggressive feeder…

    I’ve just checked my bird book… it may well be a Great Grey shrike… seems the fiscal shrike is not found in Portugal! 😉
