Hi there, do you whether the two “last sat/sun of the month” flea markets are still going? Monte Gordo and Lagoa? Can’t find a date on posts so hard to tell if recent or ancient. Thanks so much! Good site!

Hello, thank you for the useful information.
I have just come back from the Portimao flea market and posting here a review. The place is pretty easy to find, plenty of parking at 8 o’clock in the morning (I arrived at the start). Most sellers are already there by this time, some are still unpacking. The prices are cheap, I did not see anything outrageously priced. There is a big and clean public toilet right in the middle of the market. To my opinion there are bargains there, I did buy many things for my crafts though in general the goods for sale are in used condition, many with obvious flaws, still possible to find something useful. There is no noise or loud music (which is a great relief for my ears), one junk food kiosk if anyone is interested, and all the sellers that I spoke to were pretty friendly, many tried to speak English since my Portuguese is non-existent. If you see something nice, do not leave it for later as things tend to be going pretty fast there 🙂 So my personal rating for this market is 6 out of 10. Worth a visit if you need used clothing, porcelain, glass, toys, accessories, bags, shoes, sunglasses, etc…

I don’t have the data for all the markets across Portugal.

Every Monday in Nice (in the Cours Saleya) there is a flea/antiques market, instead of the usual daily food/flower one – hope you get to see it one day!

Hi 24/7 I’ve been to normal markets, the ones in the provence are awesome, but not a flea market in France. I will have to ask my daughter to take me!
