Weekly Photo Challenge: Arranged

Can you spot the carefully arranged pebble amongst the many thousands of pebbles at Praia da Canal, in the Western Algarve? Did we stumble across a Geocaching clue? I wonder…

Arranged. Sometimes you chance across things which were arranged on purpose, or on a whim – find something in your environment which was arranged by a human hand for others to enjoy!

Today’s post is inspired by the WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge. This week’s theme is “Arranged”.

I’m intrigued, what do you think it represents?

  1. I think it is like us carving a heart and initials in a tree. A love sign, I think.

Maybe it is just the romantic in me!

      1. Hi PiP, well it does look interesting! I’m not that crazy about blue ceeshe. I like paprika, but I’m wondering what it would taste like having Cinnamon sprinkled on top instead and maybe tossing in some raisins.

  2. lol such a fun find. My sister does Geocaching. We went with her & my bil geocaching one weekend. We were awestruck by the creativity and artsy ways the geocahers made their hides.
It’ll be interesting to hear what the word(s) is printed on the stone you found. Cool find and great fun for this weeks photo theme. 🙂

    1. We really enjoyed Geo caching the few times we went. Disappointed last time as it was pouring of rain so could not make it. I wanted to get our own GPS so we could go, but they are quite expensive and in all honesty I am terrified of running into a pack of stray dogs in the country. I like Geo caching when there is more than 2 of us 🙂

      1. I’m like you, If the GPS devices wasn’t so expensive we would get one. I think being with my sil & bil was why we had such a great time. I doubt we would enjoy geocaching if it was just us. Snakes, wasps and spiders also put a damper on my enthusiasm too. 🙂

  3. I think maybe someone has written a wish on that rock, and the little tower of rocks is for good luck. But what do I know.

  4. It looks like the artist’s signature? The arrangement suggests that the other pebbles (in the near vicinity) were part of the ‘work’.

  5. Interesting. It does look like the artist signed off on his ‘work’. Biodegradable art…we can all live with it for sure.
