The Liebster Award


I had a nice surprise when I checked my blog this morning. Enjoy Creating my long-time “Blogging Buddy” left a little note to say she had awarded me the Liebster award. Thankyou EC it is such a nice thought 🙂

The Liebster award (“Liebster” is the German word for friend or love) originated in Germany. The aim of the award is to bring more attention to blogs with fewer than 200 followers.

These are the rules in accepting this award.
1. Show your thanks to the blogger who gave you the award by linking back to them.
2. Reveal your top 5 picks and let them know by leaving a comment on their blog.
3. Post the award on your blog.
4. Bask in the love from the most supportive people on the Internet – other writers.
5. And best of all – have fun and spread the karma!
6. Right click on the award image and save it to your hard-drive and then upload it to your blog. (EC added this)
My suggestion: Don’t forget to add it to your sidebar….
The easy part is accepting the award the difficult part is choosing 5 other bloggers to pass the award on to.

    1. Hey EC,
      No apology necessary! We all have a life outsitde blogging which means while all though our blogging buddies are in our thoughts we can’t always be at the PC.
      Our daughter, hubby and granddaughter have just arrived and will be here for the next 10 days so if I don’t get round to eveyone you know why 🙂

      July/Aug/Sept is alswys a busy period for us so no worries! 🙂 There is a long winter ahead and lots of dark cold evenings…LOL

      Hey, no problem! Your blog deserves recognition. I remember when I first started it was such a lonely existance I was even tempted to approve SPAM comments. Go forth and share and encourage other bloggers…we are one big family 🙂

  10. You are indeed worthy of many awards, PiP, and I hereby award you the little-known and uncoveted Timmons Award for making me laugh and sigh—that’s truly creative writing mingled with photography!

    Oh, and congrats on the well-deserved and equally little-known Liebster award, too. The Timmons Award doesn’t come with a plaque (is that the stuff one gets on one’s teeth?) because I made it up just now for you. I read your daughter’s blog, too. But I suppose you can’t mention her for fear of nepotism?

    1. I humbly accept the Timmons Award with or without “plaque” LOL. I am pleased I make your laugh. There should be more laughter in life.

      I typed in Liebster Award because this not an award that has previously been circulated in my circle of bloggers and was amazed at the results.
      Cerca de 567.000 resultados (0,13 segundos)
      I was then on page 27 got to page 49 and counting and still blogs were listed.

      As for awarding my daughter, she certainly needs some sort of award with a Mother like me. She thinks I’m mad as it is. Daughters are easily embarrassed, 😳
