If you won a million $£€ on the lottery this weekend what would be the first thing you would buy yourself? (This excludes donating to charity, paying off loans, mortgages etc) I am talking about a “you” indulgence here!

      I did leave a comment and blogspot shut the door in my face again. It’s trying to get into an exclusive club trying to leave a comment LOL :)! I like your idea re the photo challenge but I will probably have to link mine to flicr as I already post a picture here once a week.
      I never received notification of your post, I only noticed a couple of people visiting PiP from your site and spotted the post….are you sure you dont want to join the wordpress gang? LOL 🙂

    If I won on the lottery, like big time this weekend, I would take my family on a luxury holiday over Easter. And then think hard what to do with the money.

      1. Well, I think we all need to relax a little, and I really, really miss the sea. But I always have a need to see and do things. To experience.So I think it would be one of the places on my mental list that I would love to visit: Vietnam.

  10. Great photo PiP – I love boats and marina’s and water and sunsets so you’ve captured a lot of things I like here.
    If I won the lottery the first thing I would buy is ‘time’. I would finally sit and write my novel because no-one would be telling me to go and get a proper job, or worrying about the bills.

  17. GREAT photo Pip, absolutely love it? Are you selling prints?
    The first thing I’d buy myself would be clothes! I’m serious – the costs of the last 12 months have been horrendous, so I’ve had to watch every cent like a hawk. Just as well I had a fairly full wardrobe before it all started! Second would be a personal trainer for 6 days a week to get back in shape – well, actually, maybe I’d do the trainer thing before I buy the clothes!

      Perhaps I should sell prints; it’s very restful picture. 🙂
      The personal trainer sounds a good idea. I had one for awhile…well the idea was to remodel my body. LOL 🙂 As I said to her you can’t make a silk purse out of a sows ear…and only God can work miracles 🙂 We both gave up.
      Good luck with your winning numbers and a nice new wardrobe. After all you’ve been/are going through you deserve it!

      1. Mine just needs a bit of …. shall we say …. “trimming”! And I was to get fit again – I’ve been very slack in the exercise department and I feel crappy because of it.
        I might just buy a Tatts ticket this week – see how I go. I’ll let you know if I win!:D

      Portugal has been in the Pooh for some time. The cost of living is rising rapidly and the Portuguese I have spoken to are really down. Tax on goods has also shot up so not sure how it will pan out, but bailout was inevitable. 😦

  19. I love those sunset shots where the blue sky transforms itself to pink or orange on its way toward earth. I really want to paint that and get it right, gorgeous photograph. If I won loads of money I would buy myself a big bungalow with a huge conservatory or a garden sun room that I could have as my studio. That way I would have plenty of natural light and space to spread out and not have to give my ‘art room’ up when we have guests to stay… Very indulgent but I would make sure everyone else had what they wanted first.

  20. Beautiful shot, PiP. If I won a bunch of money and were to indulge myself in something I’d…….Hmmmm. I’ve sat here for several minutes. At first I thought I’d spend it on a cute little house. But, I don’t think I really want to spend a lot of money on a house. I want to do a make-do from scraps kind of house. So, that lets that out. This is interesting. I’ll have to give it some thought. Everything that comes to mind has a practical application or something about “security”. Okay, now that I’ve rambled, I’ve got it. I would TRAVEL. I’d take some long trips to places I’d love to visit and put my dog/companion in a really nice little dog hotel while I was gone. Thanks for that chance to dream.

      Travel sounds an excellent good plan!
      I think I would buy a small house in France/UK so we could be nearer the imminent grandchildren and maybe a stoves cooker as mine is pretty basic and hasn’t even got a separate grill

      We were having a drink at the Marina and I noticed the beautiful colours forming in the sky and as I rushed out with my camera the colours were reflected in the water, It was one of those magical evenings and I was so lucky to have the camera with me.:)

      New clothes and hairdo sounds a great treat!!! If I won millions on Friday money does not buy you happiness, just security; I’d still be blogging and even more so as I could pay someone to do the dusting 🙂

  24. What a gorgeous picture! It looks so serene. If I won millions in the lottery, I’d buy a house with a room I could make an art studio so I could paint beautiful pictures without worrying about getting paint everywhere. It would be my creative sanctuary! Oh, please… I want it NOW.

    If I won the lottery for a million dollars, I would have to take Scuba Man on an extended dive vacation with our best friends in Texas. Probably to Cozumel, the Great Barrier Reef, and the Indonesian Islands. I’d love to give him the trip of a lifetime! I know it’s not a “me” indulgence, but once all of our bills are paid off, there’s not much I would want, except maybe an extended vacation touring Italy.

    If I won the lotto the first thing I would buy is a house, with a big yard and garage. I’ve never owned a house and I would like a nice place of my own where I could invite friends to eat carrot cake with me.
