Through my blog I share situations or things that make me laugh or cry from the bizarre to the ridiculous along with the challenges faced due to language or cultural misunderstandings.
If you are looking to visit or move to Portugal I do hope you find some of my posts and pages useful as they are all based on first hand experience. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you need more information and I will do my best to answer your questions or at least point you in the right direction…
My hobbies and interests include: cooking (as it would with a name like Piglet) I love experimenting with new recipes, gardening – I am determined to grow my own vegetables, photography (anything and everything), recycling in the home, the environment, painting, exploring Portugal and ‘virtual’ travel. I mention virtual travel as I love reading blogs about life in other countries, not tourist blogs but real people dealing with everyday situations. I also enjoy reading or surfing the net to support my hobbies and interests.
Write a book? Yes, but it will probably be a children’s book illustrated with my own drawings or photographs just for fun. We will see… In November 2012 I took part in the NaNoWriMo Chanllenge and started my first novel. Read more here
Since taking part in the challenge I have developed a passion for writing poetry and creative writing. One day, who knows I may even get something published! hmmm yes that was a little piggy flying past the window…
